Training Sessions, Times and Prices

I teach Weightlifting here in Wilton. We start with a two hour session, going through the step by step learning progressions for each lift with video feedback. I assess your positions and movement patterns, and make corrections and give corrective exercises as necessary. You’ll also receive a written and pdf manual reviewing all we do. We can cover any material you’d like in your time here, it’s totally individualized. The cost of the 2 hour Initial Session is $175.00.

The follow up Second Session is also 2 hours, and can be scheduled any time from a few days or weeks after the first, whatever is convenient for you. We review all of first, adding weight and exercises as appropriate. We’ll also discuss programming, competition readiness and rules, whatever your goals. Cost of the 2 hour Second Session with me is $125.00.

After that, you can take more individual 90 minute sessions at a cost of $100.00 each. Or, you may then come to the group/team training times at a lesser price.  The small group times vary month to month and include weekdays and evenings, and Sundays 8:30 – 4. Workouts are about 2 hours total.  There is no minimum number of sessions per month, but you must join USAW if you’ve not already. Just email when you can come. The team times are very motivating – we are current CT, Tri State, and Northeastern States Champions! – and you will have lots of encouragement and good examples of the lifts done well to help learn faster, as well as other novice and intermediate athletes. Other small group times are available during the week.

Initial sessions can be made by email 7 days per week, any time other than the team times. Also, the first 4 hours with me has been approved for .4 CEU’s by the NSCA CSCS or CPT if you hold that Certification.

There is no minimum skill level to begin, just a sincere interest to improve from your current level. Call or email anytime. Just contact me if you’d like to meet and see the facility, we can set up a time, no charge or obligation.

Sincerely.

Gary Valentine, M.A., USAW National Coach/Referee
